Sacred Love - The Fifth Key - Love Is A Lifestyle
What you appreciate grows. A universal reality is that in nature,
all that grows is fed and that which is stuck, dies. This is true of a
tree, a flower or anything in nature. That while there is an adaptation,
a progress all harm is diverted from that specie.
In our lives, it is so easy to become ambitious to the point of self righteousness. We can so easily begin to want things, want to change things, (including ourselves) and as a result, forget to be thankful for what we have. In relationship, it is so easy to focus on what could be, and forget what is. We can become complacent, and only recognize what we have when it is lost.
What we don't appreciate, we lose. What we appreciate grows. This is why love as a lifestyle is so important. Love is a cumulative thing and therefore, forgetfulness or clumsiness in relationship results in its depreciation. Every act, every thought, every consideration must show appreciation. This is the true art of romance.
Thank you is not enough. Love is not a thought, love is an action. We love by doing, we love by appreciative action. It is not love to think love. Thinking love is thinking. Love, appreciation is action. Small acts, daily acts, momentary acts of kindness and appreciation. What you feel in your heart, and therefore the activity you bring to your relationship, determines the length of it.
That people become as you treat them is a given. That appreciating someone requires humility is also understood by most. However, what is not clear is that challenge is appreciation and that wanting or expecting anything in return for our giving is manipulation. True appreciation means you wish to change nothing at all. With the first 4 keys you unlock the beauty, you see the magnificence in your partner and yourself, with this last key, you live it.
Conclusion
We cannot defy nature. If we become her enemy we sabotage all we wish for. Our hopes and dreams, our love and passion must live in harmony with the laws of nature. This is the meaning of Sacred Love.
