What If She Doesn't Love Me Back - Dealing With the Reality of Unrequited Love

We all want to believe that if we fall for a woman, that she is going to end up feeling the same way about us. We all want to hear a woman say that she loves us, especially if we know that we are definitely in love with her. However, as we all know, it doesn't always happen like that. It can be kind of shocking when it happens to us, but the reality is that love can go unrequited no matter what we try to do to make sure that it doesn't turn out that way. It's how you handle that reality that really matters.
So, how do you deal with it if you fall in love with a woman, but it is apparent that she does not feel the same way about you?
1) You can't allow it to bring you down to a level where you feel like you will never find another.
This happens to a lot of men. They'll find a woman that they fall head over heels for and then if she doesn't feel the same way about them - they get so down in the dumps that they act like they will never find another. Trust me, you will if you keep on looking for someone. The only time that you are guaranteed that you won't find another woman to fall in love with is when you totally stop looking and start to feel like being alone is the only way that you'll ever be.
2) Realize that it probably could have worked out differently had you done things differently.
I am not suggesting that you can find a way to guarantee that a woman will fall in love with you. That's not really possible. However, you can usually look back on a situation that does not work out and identify certain things that you might have done differently and those things might have cause her to feel that way about you. That may not help you win over that woman - but, it might help you out when the next one comes along and that is a good thing to keep in mind.
3) Ask yourself if you really loved her, or just the idea of her.
A woman can represent something to a guy and that representation can sometimes end up being what he really falls in love with. An example would be if you are totally attracted to blondes and so, the first one that you date you instantly feel like it is love. It might be just the fact that she represents what you've always wanted and that it wasn't really HER that you fell for in the first place.
